Myanmar may not be as famous as its neighbouring country in terms of tourism. But there are a lot of reasons why this country is worth to visit.
Southeast Asia has a lot to offer, from the beauty of its nature, wonderful cultures, delicious cuisines, and many more. If you are looking for an adventure, you should try visiting Myanmar. Despite not as famous as other neighbouring countries, there are many reasons why you should put Myanmar on your bucket list. In this article, we are going to show you why Myanmar is worth to visit.
Most people in Myanmar are Buddhist, which is one of the reasons why you find a lot of temples here. However, their Buddhist temples are different from most, as they are stunningly built, and many of them are covered in gold. One of the most jaw-dropping temples in Myanmar is located in Bagan. It is complex with hundreds of temples standing tall and proud, giving a truly majestic impression.
Another stunning temple you need to visit is the Shwedagon Pagoda. It is a 2,500 years old pagoda adorned with 8000 gold plates, 5000 diamonds, and 2000 precious stones. It creates a spectacular unrivalled view in this country.
2. Mysterious
This country has opened its border for foreign travellers just a few years ago, which means that this country has not fully exposed and still mysterious to many people. Therefore, not many tourists will be found flocking here in most of its popular location. You can get the best shot without having to stand in a long line with other tourists.
3. Kind local people
Myanmar people are nice, kind and pleasant. They are friendly, and their smiles are often genuine. Probably because the rush of tourism hasn’t hardened them. Local people are usually very welcoming and grateful that people are coming to their beautiful country and even curious to know why you decided to visit.
4. Breath-taking landscape
Many cities in Myanmar offers wonderful untouched scenery thanks to a lack of vast tourism. You will get to see stunning rural landscapes, mountain, beaches, and temples mainly still in its natural form. There are some beautiful hotels too that offer wonderful architecture, pretty garden and with a beach terrace. Visit this site to find out beautiful hotels you can book in Myanmar.
5. Traditional life
If you are tired of the busy and bustling city life, Myanmar can be the perfect getaway for you. This country pretty much has a humble and traditional lifestyle. You will only see the western influence in its most populated area, while others are pretty much calming, humble and traditional. It is the perfect place to start if you are looking for the simplest pleasures that nowadays seems to be hard to get.
If you are going to visit this country, you need to do a quick research on what to bring with you. Visitors from Southeast Asian countries can visit without a Visa, but others should have one. Make sure to book yourself a hotel before visiting this country. You can use hotel booking websites such as WorldRoamers Singapore to find the best place to stay in this country with excellent service and reasonable price. After all, you want to make sure you know where you are going to stay before exploring this wonderful country.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
